What is Geeky Minds?

Geeky Minds is an educational program by Engagement Foundation designed to foster interest in STEAM careers and encourage innovative thinking among young people. We work with teenagers aged 12 to 18, especially from underrepresented communities, providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Our approach goes beyond traditional education—we aim to inspire young people to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.

To do science, the essential elements are a love for knowledge, curiosity, perseverance, and a mentor who guides and motivates you throughout the process.

Geeky Minds is, essentially, a big circle of mentors.

I invite you to discover them and to discover yourself.

Founder and Co-Leader

What do our Geekys say?

Geeky Minds came into my life at a time when I wasn’t sure what I wanted to study or how I could make a difference in the world. Thanks to the program, I discovered my love for applied mathematics and engineering. The hands-on workshops and talks with mentors helped me see that STEAM careers are not just for a select few, but for anyone who is curious and eager to learn.

Geeky Minds completely changed my life. When I joined the program, I didn’t know much about technology, but thanks to the workshops and the guidance of the mentors, I discovered my passion for programming and artificial intelligence. Now, I study Systems Engineering and I’m a volunteer at Geeky Minds because I want to give back everything I received.

Participating in Geeky Minds was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Before the program, I didn’t see myself as someone who could stand out in science or technology, but the hands-on workshops and the mentors' stories inspired me to believe in myself. Now, I study Biotechnology and I’m a volunteer at Geeky Minds because I want to motivate other girls to pursue STEAM careers.
